Every figure checked
Every number in the summary is checked against your data.
Datwise writes the summary from your data, then checks its own work. When it cannot find a figure in your data, that figure does not reach your management.
Matched against your data
Each figure in a written summary or answer is looked up among the numbers your data actually produced, allowing for rounding.
Replaced when it can't be matched
If the summary in the monthly email contains a figure that can't be matched, that text is not sent. A summary computed directly from your data goes out instead.
Sources shown
Answers list the lookups behind them — the column, the filter, the rows matched — so anyone can retrace a number.
What it can't do: tell whether your spreadsheet is right. If the source file has an error, so will the report — which is why Datwise flags missing values and duplicate rows the moment you upload. And it checks each figure, not the sentence around it: a real number put against the wrong measure would still pass — which is why the KPI table under the summary is computed straight from your data, not written.
