Terms of service

Datwise is operated by Excellence and Quality Software Solutions, a software company in Jordan, at Al Madina St, Amman, Jordan. In these terms, “Datwise”, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person or organisation using the service. By creating an account, signing in or using Datwise, you accept these terms and the acceptable use policy that forms part of them. If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it, and “you” then means that company.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Datwise is a business product and is not intended for children. If you create a workspace for an organisation, you are responsible for the people you invite into it and for what they do there.

Datwise turns spreadsheets, Google Sheets and database tables into dashboards, written explanations, exports, alerts, public links and forms. Which features you get depends on your plan, as set out on the pricing page. We add, change and remove features as the product develops. If a change materially reduces what your plan provides, we will tell you in the app or by email.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your workspace, including what the people you invite do. Workspace roles decide what each member can see and change, so choose them carefully and remove people when they leave. Keep your email address current, because we use it for sign-in, security notices and billing. Write to info@getdatwise.com if you believe an account has been used without permission.

You keep ownership of the datasets you upload or connect and of the dashboards, metrics, comments and forms you create. You give us permission to store, copy, process and display that content only as far as we need to in order to run the service for you: to keep it, to build the dashboards you ask for, to send the reports and alerts you configure, to show the links you publish, and to send the limited information described in the privacy policy to our AI provider when you use the AI features. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to advertise to you.

Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or annually, until you cancel. Prices are shown and charged in US dollars. No tax is added at checkout: the price you see is the price you pay. If any tax is due where you live or do business, paying it is your responsibility. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your card number. If a payment fails we may retry it, and if it keeps failing we may suspend paid features until it succeeds.

You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not give pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a period, and we do not refund periods that have already run. Add-ons bought alongside a plan renew with the plan and are cancelled with it. AI credit packs are one-off purchases and are not refundable once the credits have been spent. Nothing here removes a refund that the law requires us to give.

Our acceptable use policy is part of these terms. It sets out what must not be put into Datwise and what must not be done with it. In short: upload only data you are entitled to upload, do not try to reach another workspace, and do not use Datwise to break the law or to harm anyone. Breaking that policy can lead to content being removed, a link being disabled, or a workspace being suspended or closed.

If you take part in the Datwise affiliate or referral programme, these rules apply. A commission is earned on invoices that are actually paid, not on sign-ups, trials or unpaid invoices, and it is calculated on the amount the customer actually paid after any discount. We may reverse a commission if the invoice behind it is later refunded or charged back. A payout is made once your cleared balance reaches the minimum we set for the programme; write to info@getdatwise.com to arrange one, and we will pay to the details you give us. Any tax on what you earn is yours to pay and yours to declare. You may not refer yourself, your own accounts or accounts you control, and you may not bid on the Datwise name or close variants of it in paid search. We may change the commission rates, these rules or the programme itself, and we will give notice before a change takes effect. We may end your participation, and withhold an unpaid balance, if these rules are broken.

We work to keep Datwise available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service and the standard plans do not include a service level agreement. Maintenance is announced in the app where we can plan it. Support is by email at info@getdatwise.com.

Datwise relies on companies we do not control: Stripe for payments, Google when you sign in with Google or connect a Google Sheet, Google Analytics for measuring how the product is used, OpenAI for the AI features, and the hosting, storage and email providers listed in the privacy policy. Using those parts of Datwise also means accepting the relevant provider’s own terms. If one of them changes or withdraws a service, we may have to change ours.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings; what happens to your data then is described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the acceptable use policy, that has not paid, or that puts the service or other customers at risk. We give notice first where we can, and act immediately where there is a risk to others. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of the period you have already paid for.

Datwise is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be free of faults, that it will suit a particular purpose, or that the numbers, charts and written explanations it produces are correct. AI answers can be wrong. Check anything you rely on for a decision, and do not treat what Datwise produces as financial, legal, medical or other professional advice.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, lost or corrupted data, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for Datwise in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of Jordan.

You will cover our reasonable costs, including legal costs, if someone brings a claim against us because of content you put into Datwise, because you did not have the right to use or share data you uploaded, or because you broke these terms or the acceptable use policy.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will announce it in the app and by email at least fourteen days before it takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Using Datwise after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you may cancel under section 7.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of Datwise, are governed by the laws of Jordan. The courts of Amman, Jordan have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and both you and we accept that.
